In order to create a hype for your event you may want to set up a pre-registration. This will give you a wider database of clients who are interested in your event before the sales start.
It also lets everyone who has pre-registered to get an email as soon as your sales start.
Here is how to set it up.
Enter your event page on Xceed Pro and click on edit -> Offers -> Pre-Registration
You can enable pre-registration for your event by clicking on the toggle. By default your pre-registration will close as soon as your first offer goes on sale.
Then you have two options:
Option 1: You can allow an automated email to be sent to everyone who pre-registered saying that tickets are now on sale by activating the toggle
Option 2: In case you want to send out a personalised email to your pre-registered guests with a specific link or promo code you can download the list of pre-registrations and send them an email campaign
You will be able to see how many people have pre-registered just as you see how many tickets were sold on the offer section.
As well as via what channels the pre-registrations took place on the Channel section
Please note that pre-registrations have a 24-hour attribution window. This means that only bookings made within the first 24 hours after online sales open—and pre-registered customers are notified via email—will be counted as conversions.
What your guest will see
Once you have enabled Pre-Registration on your event this is what your guests will see :
On the event page, rather than buy now, the button will say "Pre-Register"
When clicking guests will be asked to fill in their information and give their marketing consent
To make sure guest put their correct email and will receive your information we ask them to verify their email
The verification email looks like this and guest simply have to click on "Verify my email"
Once that is completed, they will be redirected to a success page and receive a confirmation email.
Once the sales start this is the automatic email received with a direct link to your event page.
